MALE CHEST REDUCTION

Gynecomastia Surgery in Faisalabad

Gynecomastia — enlarged male breast tissue — affects up to 60% of men at some point in their lives. It’s far more common than most people think, and far more impactful than most people realise. If you avoid swimming pools, tight shirts, or the gym because of your chest — you’re not alone, and there is a solution.

What Is Gynecomastia Surgery?

Gynecomastia surgery removes excess breast tissue, fat, and sometimes skin from the male chest to create a flatter, more masculine contour. Dr. Cheema uses a combination of direct tissue excision and liposuction depending on whether the enlargement is primarily glandular tissue, fat, or both. Incisions are placed around the edge of the areola where they heal to become nearly invisible.

Who Is It For?

Men of any age who have persistent breast enlargement that hasn’t resolved with diet, exercise, or time. Adolescents whose gynecomastia has persisted for more than two years past puberty. Men who experience tenderness, self-consciousness, or physical discomfort from enlarged chest tissue. It’s important to rule out hormonal or medication-related causes before surgery — Dr. Cheema will review your history thoroughly.

Recovery & Results

Most patients return to desk work within 3–5 days. A compression vest is worn for 3–4 weeks. Light exercise can resume at 2 weeks, with full gym activity at 6 weeks. Swelling subsides over 4–6 weeks. The final chest contour is visible at approximately 3 months. Scarring around the areola fades to become barely noticeable.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the vast majority of cases, no. Once the glandular tissue is surgically removed, it does not grow back. Significant weight gain or certain medications could theoretically cause fat accumulation in the chest area, but true recurrence of glandular gynecomastia is rare.
Completely. Dr. Cheema understands the sensitivity around this condition. Your consultation is private, your records are confidential, and no information is shared without your explicit consent.
Exercise can reduce chest fat but cannot eliminate glandular breast tissue. If you have true gynecomastia (firm tissue behind the nipple), surgery is the only permanent solution. Dr. Cheema will examine you to determine whether your case involves glandular tissue, fat, or both.
Chest fat (pseudogynecomastia) is soft and responds to weight loss. True gynecomastia involves firm glandular tissue behind the nipple that doesn’t shrink with diet or exercise. The treatment approach differs — liposuction alone may suffice for fat, while glandular tissue requires direct excision. Dr. Cheema will determine which you have.
